Congratulations to Ted and Kim Day

Ted and Kim Day are the recipients of the 2011 AHP Midwest Distinguished Philanthropist Award, which was presented during the AHP Midwest Regional Conference on June 6, 2011 in Kansas City, MO.

Ted Day is president of Phelps Regional Health Care Foundation. The Days gave the largest gift ever to PCRMC for the development of the Delbert Day Cancer Institute. They have also contributed many other gifts to PCRMC and have provided generous support to the community as a whole.

As part of the award ceremony at the AHP Midwest Regional Conference, a special video was shown thanking Ted and Kim Day for their support of health care in South Central Missouri. The video included messages from the mayor of Rolla, MO; John Denbo, CEO of Phelps Regional Health Care; and many key hospital staff.
